La storia di milioni ...

Milioni di persone nel mondo hanno la stessa storia, storie di sofferenza e fatica nelle loro vite. Persone che sacrificano tutto per la loro dignità, onore e famiglie. Sono i rifugiati. La mia famiglia e io, siamo tra questi rifugiati. Avevo tredici anni, quando lasciato la mia casa con la mia famiglia, quando la rivoluzione e la guerra scoppiarono in Siria il 15 marzo 2011. Abbiamo trascorso due anni terribili lì, prima di partire dalla Siria nel 2013. Siamo andati nelle nostre campagne in Giordania per trovare un posto sicuro per noi, lontano dalla guerra e dai suoni degli aerei di guerra. In Giordania, abbiamo subito iniziato una nuova vita, ricominciando da zero. All’inizio abbiamo trascorso quindici giorni nel campo di Zatari che conteneva circa 50.000 rifugiati siriani, dopodiché siamo usciti da lì per trovare un appartamento nella città di Zarqa, il luogo in cui abbiamo trascorso i successivi sette anni. In questo periodo, abbiamo avuto buone condizioni di vita con l'aiuto di organizzazioni internazionali, istituzioni, cooperative e comunità locale. Nonostante ciò, la vita in Giordania è stata difficile, costosa e c'èra un'alta percentuale di disoccupazione, abbiamo incontrato molte difficoltà per andare a lavorare. È difficile avere un buon reddito in Giordania. Mio padre e i miei fratelli lavoravano come muratori e piastrellisti. Per me, è stata un periodo di successi, ho completato la scuola media e la scuola superiore e ho ottenuto altri attestati oltre al Diploma di letteratura. Successivamente, sono già entrato nella facoltà di lingue e comunicazioni dell'AUM (American University of Madaba). Dopo aver trascorso 7 anni in Giordania, l'UNHCR ci ha chiamato e ci ha detto che l'Italia voleva darci la possibilità di un reinsediamento in Italia. Abbiamo pensato, che fosse un'occasione per trovare un posto in cui poter creare il nostro futuro, trovare opportunità di lavoro e avere il mondo! Ora siamo qui in Italia e scrivo questa storia con orgoglio, perché in questa esperienza con la mia famiglia, abbiamo affrontato sofferenze e difficoltà aiutandoci a vicenda. Le abbiamo superate insieme. Non dimenticheremo ciò che hanno fatto per noi Giordania e Italia. Li ringrazieremo per sempre, perché hanno compreso la nostra condizione. Dobbiamo tutto a loro! Alla fine, quando la persona ha pazienza e crede in Dio tutto si supera. “Non lasciare che i tuoi sogni vadano via e credi in Dio e ogni cosa andrà bene!”.  Mohammad Ali Abo Ghazaleh

The story of millions…

The Millions of specific people in the world have the same story, actions, suffering and pain of their lives. Those people who sacrifice of everything for their dignity, honor and families. they are the refugees. My family and me are one of them. I was thirteen years old, When I left my home with my family, when the revolution and war broke out in Syria in March 15, 2011. We spent two terrible years there, before we left and got out of Syria in 2013. We went to our countryside Jordan to find safe place for us, away of the war and the sounds of war planes. In Jordan, approximately we have already started a new life, from the zero spot we started it. In the first days of, we spent fifteenth days in Zatary Camp which contains around 50,000 Syrians refugees, after that we got out to find an apartment in Zarqa City, the place we spent seventeenth years. In this period, we lived a good life by the help of international organizations, cooperative institutions and local community. Despite that, the life in Jordan was difficult, expensive, and there is high percentage of unemployment, we have faced many difficulties for going to work. It is difficult to get a good income in Jordan. My father and brothers were working as bricklayer or tiler. For me, it was a successful experience, I completed my middle school and high school and I got all certificates in addition to the Diploma of literature. Subsequently, I have already entered the faculty of languages and communications in AUM (American University of Madaba). After spending 7 years in Jordan the UNHCR called us and they told that Italy wants to give you chance to resettlement in Italy. We thought, it is a chance to find place that you can create your own future. Finding you opportunities to work and having the world! We are here in Italy now and I write this story proudly, because we got all the experience of life, we faced all sufferings and difficulties together. We helped each other. We passed together. We should not forget what Jordan and Italy did. We thank them forever, because they understand our condition. We owe it to them! Finally, when the person has patient and believing in god. Just do not let your dreams go away and believe in god and every thing will be okay.   Mohammad Ali Abo Ghazaleh
